Moms Against Poverty is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving and supporting orphans and at-risk children living in developing countries. Our vision is to nurture and educate these children to their fullest potential so that one day they can contribute and lead within their own communities; thus breaking the cycle of poverty. We carry out this mission by building and renovating schools and orphanages, providing education, health care and basic needs to these children one community at a time. www.momsagainstpoverty.orG

The ultimate Miguitas objective is to reinforce their self-esteem and self-reliance to enable them to transform their lives on their own. One of our goals is supporting Peruvian Andean communities in the poorest areas of Peru through the enhancement of their own traditional resources. This allows the initiation of the process of improving their livelihood, allowing them to decrease their poverty level. We are also working towards assisting abandoned children who rely on begging in the streets to make a living.
